Sanj Aggarwal - Managing Director

Sanj Aggarwal has 10 plus years in direct marketing with extensive experience in database marketing, campaign management, creative concepts, and execution. A graduate of British Columbia Institute of Technology, Sanj started his career with JR Direct Response International in Canada.

His excellent managerial skills brought him immediate professional success and he joined C-W Agencies as Acquisition Manager. During his tenure working with these and other companies, he acquired global marketing expertise and was responsible for bringing dynamic marketing and creative savvy to mail order promotions in countries like the UK, Germany, France, Australia and New Zealand.

Over the years, he has lead dozens successful product and market launches in the insurance, charity, entertainment, and catalogue industries.  His extensive knowledge in mutli channel marketing has assisted marketers to bridge the gap between direct mail, space/insert marketing, television, radio, and new media. Sanj's ambitious personality caught the eye of RDM, an alternative media company based in Mumbai, India. RDM's “outsourcing for talent” and appointing Sanj as Director for its Canadian office has already proved to be a sound decision.

Sanj is a member of the DMA India, DMA USA, BC DMA and an associate member of the American Marketing Association and has been a speaker at the annual DMA as an expert on trends of direct marketing in India. Sanj now resides permanently in Canada.

Wesley T. Wood - Director

Wesley T. Wood is President of Marketing Capital Corporation, a marketing consulting and investment company providing specialized consulting services to the direct response and specialty retailing industry in eleven countries. MCC also provides funding for "micro-marketing" marketers by taking an equity position in a wide range of companies such as: The Lincoln Center Library of Classical Music, classical music club - USA; MBT Nursery Sales, Gardening and Horticultural Products (Compass Direct Marketing) - General Merchandise Marketing to Multinational English-Speaking Residents - UK; Crager Industries, Inc. High Performance Automotive Products - USA; Intervest Bank - Commercial Bank - Florida, USA.

Currently, Mr. Wood is a member of the Executive Committee to the Board of Advisors for the Center of Direct Marketing at New York University; Trustee for St. Dominick's R.C. Church; Board Member of Intervest Corporation (Real Estate), Intervest Bank (Florida Commercial Bank); and Member or the Trustees Advisory Committee at Fairfield University in Connecticut.

Mr. Wood has had widespread general marketing experience in the fields of packaged goods (Ballantine Beer, La Rosa Spaghetti, Visine Eye Drops), real estate, banking, insurance and closed-circuit sport promotions including marketing of the Boston Celtics Basketball team. He has since concentrated on Direct Response Marketing. From 1972 to 1981, he was Co-Founder and President of Candelite Music, Inc. and Candelite Collectors Society. Candelite was the largest independently-owned direct marketer of records and tapes in the United States and Canada. He was also owner and publisher of Country Music Magazine.

From 1968 to 1972, Mr. Wood served as Executive Vice President, Member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Downe Communications, Inc. Downe published Ladies' Home Journal, Family Weekly, Sports Magazine and various other publications. The company also owned and operated radio stations and many direct marketing companies. During this time, Mr. Wood co-founded The Hamilton Mint which became the second largest private mint in the United States during the early seventies.
Mr. Wood is a graduate (Bachelor of Science - 1965) of New York University, School of Commerce. He and his wife, Mary Catherine, reside in Laurel Hollow, Long Island, New York.

Dharti Desai - Director

Dharti Desai is president and co-founder of both Marketing Capital Company India Private Limited (MCCI), and Regency Direct Marketing India Pvt. Ltd, one a direct marketing consulting company and the other an alternative media company – both located in Mumbai, India. Ms. Desai saw the potential India had to offer much before the outsourcing boom and established a pioneering position for herself and the company in direct marketing in India and significantly heightened the company's prominence within the industry since 1996. She has been the key architect in setting the overall strategic direction of the company, patiently awakening a country to the hitherto unknown direct marketing world, sourcing key clients and vendors, working with the local nuances of the country and facilitating the integration of direct marketing consulting and bank card syndication.

Ms. Desai is also President of D. D. Worldwide Marketing Corporation, located in New York City. The company provides consulting and creative copywriting services to its clients in six countries. The company also engages in investments and joint ventures in mail order projects around the world. Its area of expertise is offer development and creative services and other forms of interactive games and techniques to increase response or customer order size. Industry segments serviced are: household products, jewelry, charity, general merchandise and financial services. Ms. Desai, fluent in English, French and Hindi also provides specialized translation services through D. D. Worldwide to multi-national direct mail companies. Ms. Desai has the ability and an innate talent of producing winning creative concepts and this has made her company a great value add to her clients' marketing/creative teams in 7 countries.

Ms. Desai is member of the Direct Marketing Ideas Exchange(DMIX) in New York, the DMA International Council and the Direct Marketing Association, USA. She has been invited as a speaker at the DMA's annual conventions.

Ms. Desai is a graduate of Wilson College, Mumbai University (India), resides in New York, but divides her time between the USA and India.

Charles Prescott - Senior International Advisor

Charles A. Prescott has spent his career in international corporate, securities, finance, and new country development law and projects.  During his career he has worked in law firms in Tokyo and New York, and has been in-house corporate counsel with privately-owned Continental Grain Company and publicly-listed The Reader’s Digest Association, Inc. He also served as Vice President, Global Development at the Direct Marketing Association, Inc. of the United States.  The DMA is the largest trade association for businesses interested in interactive and database marketing,

Currently, he continues to represent his several constituencies in numerous US government and international bodies, including the US Department of Commerce, the State Department, the International Chamber of Commerce and the Universal Postal Union. He has served on the  Board of Directors of FEDMA (Federation of European Direct and Interactive Marketing).  Currently he represents the Global Envelope Alliance at the Universal Postal Union where he is Chairman of the Consultative Committee, which consists of private sector associations and organizations with interest in the international postal network, including competitors, customers of and suppliers to the posts world-wide.  He also serves on Industry Technical Advisory Committee 5 to the U.S. Department of Commerce, which advises the government on international trade agreements and issues and a similar committee which advises the State Department on postal matters.

He earned his J.D. (cum laude) in 1974 from Harvard Law School, and his A.B. in 1969 from Hamilton College, where he was Phi Beta Kappa.  He is admitted to practice law in California and New York, and is a member of the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.

He is a frequent speaker around the world on direct and interactive marketing developments, postal matters, and privacy and data protection and has authored numerous works to assist data processors to understand and comply with laws and best practices world-wide. His work at the UPU has resulted in engagement in numerous postal issues impacting international mailers, most recently on the critical issue of addresses and addressing.

Sarb Athwal - List Division Manager

Sarb Athwal holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of the Fraser Valley, with a concentration in Marketing.  She joined the RDM team in 2005 as a list broker and quickly proved herself to become the List Division Manager.  Sarb's superior organizational, analytical, and communications skills coupled with her solid educational background has made her a vital part of the RDM team.

Anita Lal - Business Development

Anita started her career with JR Direct Response International in Canada in data entry, but worked her way up to Account Executive. In 2006, Anita’s vast knowledge of the Direct Mail industry caught the attention of RDM and she came to work at the Canadian office as head of the Business Development team.

Rachelle Sevigny - Senior Accountant

Rachelle Sevigny is the Senior Accountant at Regency Direct Mail Ltd. She came to RDM in 2006 with over three years of full cycle accounting experience, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (2002) from Trinity Western University, School of Business. Rachelle oversees all aspects of accounting at RDM, from receivables and payables, to reconciliations, and reporting needs of management and clients.
